10 x 3 inch, (8cm) NEEDLE FISH LURES
It took me ages to track down the longest version of this fantastic little lure. These needle fish lures are so versatile. I use these for all sorts of rigs, extra attractors, and even on stinger hooks, that I make up. Rig these in threes, above a jig, rig just one of these on a short dropper above your short Hopper Rig for Cod, add them as an added strike point on bigger artificial lures, (see picture below)

Or use them on a big 6/0 circle hook, or something similar, to make your own Stinger hooks for your power Jigs. As I said these little lures are so adaptable, you've just got to have a pack in your tackle box.

Ideal for the shore angler, using soft baits, this extra strong elastic allows you to wind the elastic tightly around the bait, without it constantly snapping. The extra fine diameter also allows the elastic to bury itself into the bait, with out being conspicuous and spooking any extra weary fish.

Ideal for the shore and boat angler, using soft fish baits, Large Peeler Crab baits etc, this extra strong Red elastic allows you to wind the elastic tightly around the bait, without it constantly snapping. The bright Red colour can also be used as an attractor when wrapping around White Squid and Sandeel cocktails for the Rays.

6 x 25mm Extra Large Pop-Up Floating Beads
These brand new extra large pop up beads, not only have enough buoyancy to lift your baits off the bottom, but their fluoro-red colour makes them great attractors as well. These extra large beads will lift a double lug bait, or cut fish bait, off the sea bed floating it away from crabs, but highly visible to all types of flatfish, and other bottom feeding fish such as Cod, Skate etc. These are brand new and come in two sizes to suit all sized baits and conditions.

Stainless Steel Booms & Swivels
Stainless steel booms with swivels. Ideal for beach, pier and boat fishing. Soft enough to be able to be clipped down for distance beach casting, but strong enough to hold your baits out for maximum presentation. These booms are fitted with a swivel at the end to stop kinks, and line twists. Use micro beads and trace crimps to secure on trace.
Micro trace beads. Use in conjunction with mini trace crimps to secure booms and swivels.
Mini Trace Crimps Use on lines up to 80lbs or 0.80mm. Fix booms and swivels in place when making your own traces.
150mm - Ideal to use on the 45g Daft Ed’s, these twin tails have all the colour and action to get those big wreck Cod and Ling biting.
7” VIBRO FIRE TAILS - ORANGE, YELLOW, BLACK AND BLUE WITH A FANTASTIC FIRE RED CURL TAIL.
Fish these on the 45g Daft 'Ed in midwater for Bass and Pollack, or present on a Jelly hook for the ultimate worm presentation.
These Lure Flippers are a great secret weapon of mine and I use them to dress all my lures and plugs. They not only give me extra strike points that predatory fish aim for, but they also add extra vibration and movement to my lure, as they are designed to wobble on retrieve. Use these to dress your own plugs, Toby's Spinner baits, spoons, Flying C's and even Shads to give that special touch, that turns a good lure into a great lure.
Oval Lure Flippers
I often get asked what I use to connect my lures to my trace line. The two most critical factors that I look for in a link are that they must be as unobtrusive (small) as possible & combined with maximum strength.
It always amazes me when I meet a fellow angler that has all the right tackle, and then has his lure attached by a big shiny swivel and snap link. This is guaranteed to spook 90% of Bass that come anywhere near his lure. The other is the angler that has his lure attached to a tiny size 8 American snap swivel!! I almost pray he doesn't hit into a decent fish as an 8lb Bass will open up a link like that in seconds!
One of the best snaps available at the moment that is reasonably priced and unbelievably strong is the duo-lok snap. Developed in America these snaps were designed to withstand the enormous pressures developed when tackling seriously hard fighting fish, fish that would make mincemeat of the connecters used by 99% of British anglers. I only trust connecting one of my lures to one of these duo-lok snaps.
The two sizes I use are simply small and large, and the pictures below indicate the Duo-loks that are best suited.

Smart Lock Links (with swivel attachment)
The ultimate link between lure and line! The smart lock is rated to 70lbs, with the added bonus of an equally strong swivel to minimize line kink, and a fish levering itself off against the lure. Fits all sizes of lure from the 30g right up to 90g

Save yourself hours of frustration and broken fingernails trying to open strong split-rings. This simple little tool designed in the USA will hold open most split-rings so that you can add or remove hooks, Lure Flippers, Swivels etc.

3 X SQUID AND FISH BAIT RIGGING NEEDLES
A must for cod, conger and other big fish species. This is my secret weapon for rigging whole squid easily and quickly for those big fish. To rig your tackle for the perfect big fish presentation, simply secure your hook through the eye with a large loop of mono at the end of your trace length - don't tie the hook on with a know as this hook has to be easily removed. Above this bottom hook, have a sliding hook on the loop which is used to secure the top of your bait. To bait up your whole squid, simply remove the bottom hook, place the loop in the eye of the needle and push the needle and line right through the bait. Remove the needle and loop the hook back on. Slide the top hook down and hook it at the top of the squid and you now have the perfectly rigged whole squid - a killer for cod, bass, conger and skate.
