Savage, probably one of the best companies for developing new and innovative fishing lures, have come up with this fantastic lure. It fishes on its side, to simulate an injured bait fish struggling on the surface. All the markings face downwards, so a hunting bass see's an injured fish on its side. Savage have even put blood marks around the eyes and gills, to further enhance the injured bait fish look.
Top tip 1 fish your free bass fly on a short dropper 6 to 8 inches in front of this lure, on our 20 or 25LB fluorocarbon, this will give the impression of 2 injured bait fish on the surface .
Top tip 2 always use a good quality braid ( see our braided lines ) when plugging. There is no stretch with braid, so every movement you make with the rod, is transferred directly to the plug.
